Privacy
Your library stays on your computer. Here is everything that leaves it, and when.
Your messages
Messages, photos, links, topics and tags are stored only on your computer. Kipple has no account and no server copy of your library.
AI, only if you turn it on
AI is off until you agree in a dialog. Then the text of messages goes to Claude by Anthropic, either with your own key or through the Kipple server, which passes it on and keeps nothing. Messages that look like passwords or card numbers are never sent.
Anonymous usage stats
Once a day the desktop app sends a few counters: app version, OS, interface language, the week it was installed, a rough library size (like 100–999) and how often features were used (searches, imports, exports). There is no id, no message text, no names, no links. The server adds the numbers to daily totals and keeps no single report and no IP address. Totals are deleted after 13 months. Turn it off on the start screen or in Settings, where you can also see the exact request.
This website
Page views are counted with Vercel Web Analytics, without cookies and without storing IP addresses. The download button counts clicks by the site you came from (for example, telegram).
